Dr Laila Makinen was recommended to the Greek Ministry of Education, Life Long Learning and Religious Affairs by the Finnish National Board of Education as a consultant for the reform of primary and secondary education in Greece that was launched two years ago. She was in Greece  training and consulting with a team preparing new curricula and with Pr. P. Anastassiadis, in charge of a nation-wide teacher-training program. She met with the Minister Ms A. We were all very impressed with her inspiring way of expressing her ideas and her dedication to bringing real change to education. She set at the disposal of the team preparing the new curricula, a portofolio of very interesting papers and she worked hard committed to help the project.
